Like air, these days, even computers are omnipresent. Computers bring along ease, proper management, and increased productivity. At the same time, they bring along problems and bugs which are alien to the common man. In today’s post and the next ones, we will discuss how computer repair service can be done from the comfort of our homes. When a computer develops a problem, we look for ‘computer doctors’. However, there are some problems that we can solve on our own without looking for a ‘computer doctor’ outside. Let us look at one such problem.

It often happens that the mouse gives up and so do we. We tend to think that it is not possible to work without the mouse. However, the computer will work just perfect even without the mouse, thanks to the keyboard shortcuts. Here are some keyboard shortcuts that can be used in a computer with the Windows operating system:

Windows Logo: Opens the Start menu.
Windows Logo + L: Locks the computer.
Windows Logo + R: Opens the Run dialog box.
CTRL + ESC: Opens the Start menu.
ALT + TAB: Helps navigate from one open program to another.
ALT + F4: Closes the current program (window).
ALT + The underlined letter in the menu name: Open the corresponding menu.
F1: Opens the corresponding help window.
F5: Refreshes the current window.
F10: Makes the menu bar options active. Once a menu is active, you can use the down arrow to open and move through the drop-down menu. Press Enter to select an option.
SHIFT + F10: On a selected item, this opens the right-click menu.

You can use the arrow buttons to maneuver through objects.

We will come back with more helpful tips tomorrow.
