Yes, there is a possibility of an undo for the entire system as well. And you can undo things to a few days earlier. If you are wondering if you would lose data because of this undo, let me tell you, you would not lose any data however much you apply this undo on the system. This undo is called System Restore. As the name suggests, it helps take your system to an earlier point when the system was working absolutely fine. What System Restore essentially does is that it uninstalls any hardware or software you may have installed between the time the system worked fine and now, without tampering with your data.

Here are the steps for implementing the technique:
1. Click Start.
2. Select All Programs.
3. Select Accessories.
4. Select System Tools.
5. Select System Restore.
6. Choose the restore point from among the available restore points.
7. Click Next to start the restoration process.
Once the restoration is complete, the system will restart on its own.

System Restore comes with the MS Windows operating system.
